You can telephone your reservation today at the toll free number: 866-932-2214. Make sure you get a confirmation number. Cut off date is September 28th. Any reservations made after this date, will be charged published rates. This place is not a hotel, but a motel with TWO floors; no elevator. It is very close to the water.
Management is offering a choice of rooms, for: $69.00 per night - you get a view of the pool. You get 2 beds, and a refrigerator and a microwave. $49.00 per night - you get no view with a king size bed only.
For those of you who will arrive before the scheduled reunion date and/or plan to stay after the reunion ends, the management will extend the room rate to accommodate you. You must mention the USS SHERIDAN to receive these room rates.
More good news: they offer a FREE Hospitality Room. If it isn't large enough for us, they will move us into a dining room.
They have an in-house restaurant which serves 3 meals per day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also offer FREE cocktails everyday between 5 to 7 p.m.
The staff promises beautiful sunsets over-looking the sugar white sand on Pensacola Bay. So, mark your calendar and make your reservation. We know that life is uncertain, especially at our age, but who knows what the future has to hold. You can always cancel if you need to. Get a cancellation number. We have had wonderful past reunions and have visited parts of the country many of us have never seen before, so think positive and just do it!
After you make your decision, please click here, complete, print out and mail the page to Bob and Bea Hogan (or email it to them) so they can keep track of who is attending the reunion and who is not.
The Pensacola Regional Airport is approximately 15 minutes from the reunion site. I'm sorry I do not know how many miles. Delta, Continental, US Air, AirTrans, NorthWest and American Eagle airlines all fly into Pensacola.
